We find out! DORH has invested a new appeal in the case of the Dread Farm: ‘The judge went on sick leave’
The Slavonski Brod Municipal State Attorney’s Office filed an appeal to the Slavonski Brod Municipal Court, 24 hours. As we have been unofficially confirmed to us, the appeal relates to the decision of Judge Mirko Zivic to exclude the public from the proceedings. Recall that the 24 -hour journalists received the approval of the President of the Court of Media Tracking the case before the trial began, but Judge Zivic decided to surprise everyone present and made a decision to exclude the public, referring to the protection of the family life of the defendant’s family.
The appeal, as we learn, was received on the Slavonski Brod Municipal Court on May 2, 2025. Also, more interlocutors introduced to the situation, we were confirmed by the information that Judge Zivic went for a long sick leave.
– We do not know when a new discussion will be scheduled, they told us that the judge had gone to long -lasting sick leave, and now that appeal must be resolved first – the interlocutor tells us.
For a reminder, the trial of three defendants who are charged with rape rapes on a farm in Brod-Posavina County began recently. The Municipal State Attorney’s Office has previously indicted three Croatian nationals (1955, 1970 and 1977) for committing the criminal offense of killing or torturing animals. The indictment is charged with the first defendant (1955) and the second defendant (1970) that they enabled the third defendant (1977) and at least three more strangers to use animals for sexual relations in their homes and stables, and the second defendant (1970) and the third -ranked (1977) were charged with sexual relations.
As we first announced, the suspects (55 and 70) are charged with allowing other men to torture and rape of animals on their farm. For the four years, the two of them (45) and a group of others, for now unknown men, enabled them to exploit animals for sexual intercourse in the house and stall. It is, as stated in a police report, about at least two Labrador dogs, a Croatian sheepdog, a burglary, a sows, a barrel, a calf, a hen and other animals. The youngest man was also sentenced to court recently in court and received six years and 10 months for raping a minor under 15.
Earlier, we also announced that in the court documents, which in the ownership of the 24 Hours, it is stated that the men inflicted unnecessary pain to the animals and exposed them to unnecessary suffering. As soon as all of the animals were discovered, he was transported to shelter, where they were found to have ears injuries, legs, genitals, that they were very persuaded and not letting them approach them.
