We continue our partnership to carry out advanced interventions in Albania as well
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Kociu, paid an official visit to Rome, with the aim of continuing the cooperation between the University University University Center of the University and the Kieti-Pescara Hospital Complex and the University of Medicine, Tirana, which had begun in principle in 2023.
The good news for Albanian citizens is that this agreement provides for cooperation in some highly advanced and complex areas, including health care for patients as well as advanced professional training for medical staff, in order to further increase QSUNT capacity.
According to Kochi, « Partnership, which has been launched for two years now in advanced fields such as kidney, liver and pancreatic transplants, provides opportunities for the treatment of Albanian patients and training our doctors, with the aim of making these procedures more and more in our country. »
In her communication the Minister of Health underlined the importance of cooperation with specialized health structures in Europe and beyond, further improving the service to citizens. ”By Sheba Medical Center last week and today by Policlinico Tor Vergata followed by our international partners to build a health system where every Albanian citizen receives free services, dignified and equal to those of any European citizen ”, said Kochiu.
Last month, the Minister of Health prof. Orazio Schillaci, which signed the Declaration of Realization, in the field of improving neonatal service in the maternes of Tirana, Fier and Dibra, in the pharmaceutical sector with the treatment of rare diseases, as well as the expansion of academic cooperation and research.
