We are reluctant to replace mopping with a cleaning machine
In 28 countries, 23,000 people have been used by a cleaning machine to clean the floor cleaning habits. Half of the respondents said they were still doing the traditional bucket-rogue mop, although he himself sees that after such an action he could not go through the floor with a calm heart. But then how do we clean well?

A cleaning machinery company has investigated people’s floor cleaning habits in 28 countries.
-
Traditional mopping methods are still common but not effective enough.

Respondents say a combination of vacuuming and mopping leads to ideal results.
Dyson’s first global wet cleaning study gives a profound picture of how people are cleaning around the world, what difficulties they face with current tools, and why traditional methods do not work effectively.
More than 23,000 respondents from 28 countries were interviewed during the Global Wet Cleaning Study. The results revealed that although 93%of those surveyed have a hard floor, only 48%use a wet cleaning machine to clean it.
Due to two decades of microscopic powder research, it has become clear that vacuum cleaning is the most effective way to remove dust. However
Said Matthew Lee, senior researcher.
More than half of wet cleaning have called the main goal of maintaining hygiene and eliminating dirt – but are they really working on the most effective means?
Why isn’t the mop and the bucket anymore?
Traditional wet floor cleaners such as a mop, bucket, rag or wet floor towel – are still popular. 52% still use a mop, 41% wet rag and 24% use floor towels. However, these tools often cannot provide a really clean, « barefoot » floor, so no one is happy to go barefoot or white socks.
« Old -type cleaning tools such as mopper or roller wet washers often only disassemble the dirt, especially when used with dirty water or not completely picked up the dirt » Explained leading designer Ketan Patel.
In addition, 45%of users reported that vacuuming, sweeping or brushing should be vacuumed before wet cleaning. The mop or a wet cloth cannot be removed with larger, pieces of dirt. This significantly increases the time for cleaning, as you have to work in two separate steps.
Not surprisingly, an average cleaning takes almost 109 minutes – almost two hours! This can be particularly burdensome in busy households where every minute counts. Therefore, there is a solution that can perform dry and wet cleaning at the same time.
The most common problems with current wet cleaning tools:
-
One third of the respondents say they do not clean the edges well.
-
According to one in four, the maintenance of devices is time consuming.
-
The same amount complained about weak batteries.
-
Many have also indicated that devices do not remove stubborn stains.
Of course, the research of the research recommends a cleaning machine, which will solve everything at the same time. It is written that the machine works with hydration, rubbing and separation, and at the same time picks up dry and wet dirt – even hair. The two microfiber rollers rotating in the opposite directions clean it from all directions to work faster and more thoroughly. The floor cleans 30%less pull and dries 80%faster than traditional mop.
