The government is closely monitoring the security situation in the Middle East, a crisis headquarters at the Foreign and Foreign Trade Ministry is activated, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in connection with the events between Iran and Israel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade regarding information on the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East yesterday appealed to all Macedonian nationals on the territory of Israel and Iran to follow the national emergency portals and to act strictly in accordance with the guidelines of the competent institutions. He also called on all Macedonian citizens to refrain from any trips to the countries of this region, to improve the security situation.
Regarding the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Stoilkovic at events at the Russian Embassy, ie whether it will bother bilateral relations with Western countries, the prime minister responded that there should be no doubt about the government’s position on Russian aggression.
