We and Petit Press won four awards of the prestigious journalistic prize
We know the names of the winners for the best journalistic work last year.
The awards ceremony for 2024 brought awards for exceptional journalistic works in 10 genre categories.
Up to 165 journalists and journalists from 44 editors participated in the competition. Almost 500 posts were entered.
The authors and author of the daily SME and Petit Press won four awards awarded by the Open Society Foundation.
We learned the names of the winners during the gala evening on Tuesday 20 May in the Bratislava Old Market.

Lenka Hanikova The jury appreciated from the Corsair, which is part of the SME, for an article informing about the suspicions that the municipality of Raslavice received subsidies for the construction of a non -existent multifunctional playground. The mayor of the municipality claims that the course was temporarily built, but for technical problems they had to disassemble it, which caused doubts about the transparency of the whole project.

For a comment in which the author criticizes MUDr. Visolajsky for his participation in the Infovojna session, which the author sees as a propaganda medium abusing the form of traditional media for spreading manipulation, has won an award Ján Füle.
