Warsaw. Travel from Israel was smuggling almost 50 kg of drugs
The 21-year-old flew from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt. The customs officers who checked her luggage rubbed their eyes in amazement. In two suitcases they found 49 kg of drugs. Smuggling came to light when an X -ray scandal was scanned. The image indicated the presence of a suspicious substance.
Warsaw. They found almost 50 kg of drugs in suitcases
According to the National Tax Administration (KAS), after the opening of the suitcases, 245 packages were found with secured plants with green, lanceolate leaves and burgundy stems with a total weight of 49 kg. The shape and appearance of plants suggested that it is khat, i.e. very known and widely used, mainly in Africa, a plant. It functions as a stimulant to stimulate, and even as an antidepressant. Sample tests carried out at the Central Customs and Tax Laboratory in Otwock confirmed this.

Due to the content of Katynon – a substance with a strong effect, similar to the action of amphetamine and ephedrine, khat is considered a intoxicant and its possession is illegal. Mucs conducts matters in which Khat was attempted to smuggle, declaring it as various plant known from his health properties (including Moringa or Green Tea).
Kas reports that a woman from Israle has been detained. For the future penalty, the court was secured by the cash she had with her. The 21-year-old heard allegations of smuggling a significant amount of intoxicants, for which there is a penalty of imprisonment from 3 to 20 years.
The case is carried out by Mucs under the supervision of the Warsaw-Ochota District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
