Walking through the works of art and venues of the oral


Two artists are present at the entrance to each of the four venues, MGLC Tivoli Castle, MGLC Switzerland, Moderna Gallery (MG+) and the Ljubljana City Gallery, these are Silvan Omerzu and Svetlana Makarovic. Omerzu’s work is closely linked to the tradition of Slovenian puppetry. Admission to Switzerland is characterized by the installation of Silvan Omerzu, the figures of the devil and the dolls of sick girls in a wheelchair, with an angel that was inspired by the work of Ivan Cankar and illustrates hope and salvation. Switzerland is really dedicated to salvation. One of the secrets of salvation hiding in the basement were designed Vesna and Eugen Petreshin. It is the potential to realize dreams of gaining sufficient energy for almost everything, just using water. The new venue is Plečnik’s auditorium

Site-Specific work The shadow we share i Kathrin Siegrist stands near Plečnik’s auditorium. Artistic installation, which is partially designed on some forms and motifs of the architect Jože Plečnikwith light pyramids, it illustrates the stability and power that we, as a society, must show that we will protect equality and freedom. Jakopič’s promenade, designed in the 1930s by architect Jože Plečnik, connects the Modern Gallery and MGLC. On it, the artist and writer Sinzo Aanza awakens the legacy of the non -aligned and creates a new path, a new promenade that symbolizes freedom and solidarity in these uncertain times.

Modern and City Gallery yet

There is another layout in front of the Modern Gallery Kathrin Siegristat the entrance, the installation of Silvan Omerzu, which illustrates the freedom of poetic creation, and puppets from performances Goldfish and Ball Marogica designer Aeri penges. Silvan Omerzu Puppet Intervention tells the mythological story of the Argonauts and the hero Jazon, who is supposed to establish the City of Ljubljana.
