Vucic: ‘CNN works against me, just like against Trump’

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic accused the US television house CNN of taking a campaign against him in the same way, as Vucic claims, she did so against US President Donald Trump.

– My dear friends from the United States, you will understand everything. See what CNN is saying, the truth is on the opposite side. You will see that they work and say everything against me, just as they said against the US President Trump, and then everything will be clear to you – Vucic said in an interview with Washington Examiner.

He answered the question of what the US viewers would like to know about Serbia as they follow news on social networks.

He accused protesters in Belgrade of destroying 186 tractors. The question is anything that demonstrators want at that moment.

– They had the only big fight among themselves. No one answered them, we didn’t want to arrest anyone. In the end, we had to arrest 44 people. 13 of them were retained because they were drunk or caused violence – he said.

The journalist then told him that it seemed to her that the protesters believed that on March 15th it was ‘Day D’. Vucic said he believed that there would be more such days.

– There will be another ‘day D’, so the third ‘day d’ and the tenth ‘day d’. I want to focus on both myself and this whole country on the economy and our future, to solve all the problems in the Assembly in an extremely democratic way because I believe we have shown how abstained we were from using any force. I am very happy because you do not see such pictures in Europe when others organize riots – he concluded.
