The Serbian president believes the new government in the country will be elected next week, MIA’s correspondent in Belgrade said.
-It is our duty to reach out and we will always reach out. But the state must exist, it must work and I believe that a government will be elected next week – Vucic said today.

We do not give Serbia in connection with the central part of the rally, held yesterday that between 126,735 and 128,080 people entered Belgrade.
« So that figure is without Belgrade, and there were most people from Belgrade at the rally, » Vucic said.

He added that « the feeling of pride from the people who attended the rally cannot be taken away, that the people have shown that they do not have to break, to block themselves », but also that « those who have the task of destroying Serbia » will continue to do so.

Commenting on yesterday’s rally in Novi Pazar, calling students in the blockade, Vucic said he attended much greater rallies in that city and that he would soon visit Novi Pazar.

– We will not give up the demands made last night at the meeting in Belgrade. These demands are in accordance with the Constitution and it is an obligation, only that someone has suspended the Constitution, and they were not people from the government, but those who tried to kidnap the state and institutions, they literally kidnapped the state – he said.

Speaking of the rally in Belgrade, he said it was « a significantly larger rally than the one they say is the biggest (from the opposition) ».

National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic said today that the session of the National Assembly and the debate on the new government is expected on Monday or Tuesday, adding that the session will be scheduled as soon as the proposal to form a government is received.

-We have not yet received the proposal to form a government. Once we get it, we will follow it immediately and schedule a session immediately… I believe that either on Monday or Tuesday we will start with the Parliament and the debate on the new government of the Republic of Serbia- said Brnabic.
Last week, Vucic proposed Djuro Matsut for a new government’s mandate in Serbia.
