VR@SJA Renato Hoxhaj, Eris Mehmetaj’s testimony is revealed: I have nothing to do with crime!
Eris Mehmetaj, suspected of being a collaborator in the killing of 58-year-old Renato Hoxhaj, has denied having to do with the April 27 execution. Mehmetaj told police that the car is the same as he owned.
He added that he was used by a friend of his after asking him and that he does not know what his car was used. The 37-year-old has been released in jail by the Vlora Court for support of the perpetrator and providing conditions for the murder of Renato Hoxhaj. It is learned about the incident that the police suspect the vehicle may have been dismantled.
The incident happened around 06:00 on April 27 when the victim was returning home from the place where he worked as a guard of a building under construction. Hoxhaj was shot closely three times with a firearm. It is reported to have been his cohabitant who heard the shooting and found him dead.
She burst into tears, saying « they killed her », and was then questioned by police. The victim was divorced and coexisted with a woman while reported to be the father of two adult children. Hoxhaj took 2 bullets to the head and two in the body, while the pistol was 9 mm of cartridges.
In her testimony, the cohabitant has only shown how she found her killed and notified the police. None of the residents have seen the persons who committed the crime. The main leads of the investigation are possible conflicts recently and involvement in an event.
