The Central Electoral Bureau has taken a series of measures to exercise the right to vote on May 4, under conditions of legality, equality and integrity.

According to the BEC, the candidates, the members of the electoral bureaus of the polling stations and any voter have the right to challenge the identity of the person who is presented, by any means of communication.

In this case, the identity is established by the president of the electoral bureau of the polling station by any legal means.

« The checks will be carried out with tact and respect for the person whose identity is challenged, aiming to avoid uncomfortable situations or other inappropriate behaviors, » says BEC.

If the appeal is well founded, the president of the Voting Section will stop the challenging voter, will note the fact in a report and notify this situation to the competent public authorities by teaching the personnel report that ensures the protection section in the country or to the staff of the diplomatic mission or the competent department of the department. abroad.

The incident will be announced hierarchically by the representatives of the public authorities who received the minutes.

The voter who presents himself at the polling station and, for sound reasons, found by the president of the Voting Section, cannot vote alone has the right to call in the cabin, in order to help him, an attendant chosen by him.

It cannot be among the accredited persons/observers, the members of the electoral bureau of the polling station or the candidates.

For a thorough reason that prevents the voter from voting alone, the objective situation or the medical condition that puts the voter unable to travel alone, in the voting booth, the activity of browsing the ballot and the application of the stamp with the « voted » on the electoral competitor he wants to choose.

The thorough reason must be able to be easily ascertained by the president of the electoral bureau of the polling station with his own senses or from the analysis of some supporting documents that the voter presents, without the need for additional checks, says bulb.

The invocation of book ignorance, illiteracy, ignorance of the law or the ignorance of the Romanian language does not constitute a thorough reason that prevents the voter from voting alone.

At the same time, in the situation in which the voter, for well -founded reasons, found by the president of the electoral bureau of the polling station, cannot sign in the electoral list, the president makes a mention in the electoral list, confirmed by his signature and another member of the Electoral Bureau.

Photography or filming by any means of the ballot is prohibited.

The president of the electoral bureau of the polling station is obliged to take the necessary measures for the elections to take in good conditions.

Its tasks, in this regard, extend outside the voting premises, in the headquarters of the polling station, in its yard, in the entrances to the courtyard, around the polling station headquarters, as well as on the streets and in public markets up to 500 meters.

In order to maintain the order, the president of the electoral bureau of the polling station will have the necessary means of order, provided by the mayor and the prefect, together with the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In addition to the members of the Electoral Bureau of the Section, by its auxiliary technical personnel, the technical personnel designated to ensure the disturbances of the computer and communications systems used in the electoral process, by the candidates and delegates and the accredited observers, no other person can park in the public places in the voting area or in the voting area.

At all the operations performed by the electoral offices of the polling stations they can assist, apart from their members, of the computer operators and the security personnel, the candidates, the persons accredited according to the law, the representatives of the permanent electoral authority, the members of the higher electoral bureaus and the central electoral bureau.

During the voting it is forbidden to members of the electoral offices and accredited persons to wear badges, badges or other signs of electoral propaganda.

The marketing and/or alcohol consumption around the section headquarters in the country are forbidden, during the voting, up to a distance of 500 meters.

By organizing events of any kind, the access of persons to the polling stations can be obstructed in the voting and on the day of the vote.
