Vote for your future

Vote for your future

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, thanked the citizens who have participated in the electoral process until this hour and repeated the call for a wider participation in the polls.

In a statement to the media, Berisha described the voting act as a major obligation for every Albanian citizen over the age of 18, a responsibility to himself, family, society and the nation.

« A special thank you to thousands of Albanians who could not register because of the bureaucracies and the fear of the government for their vote, but who today came from the air, the land and the sea to exercise the right to vote, » Berisha said.

He emphasized the importance of this moment for the future of the country and addressed the citizens with a direct call: « Vote for yourself, for your children, for your country, for your future. Vote for business, salaries, pensions, farmers today to protect the most important interests of every citizen. »

Meanwhile, he said that anyone who violates the law will be held responsible and that today the sovereign gives a historical verdict.

Berisha: I thank those citizens who have so far cast their vote, voted, thus fulfilling a major obligation of every Albanian over the age of 18.
Major obligation to himself, family, society, Albania and the nation.
A special thanks and unlimited gratitude to those thousands of Albanians and Albanians who could not register because of the bureaucracy and fear of the government for their vote, but have been flooded by the air, the sea and have flocked today and are voting in Albania.
My gratitude is boundless to them.
Through their vote, they are found in the country and the nation at a moment in which they greatly need it.
Finally, once again my call is for every Albanian: vote, vote, vote for yourself, for your children, for your country, your future, your children, for business, for salaries, pensions, farm.
So it is a vote more than ever for the most important interests of every citizen.

Now, everything has a very serious international surveillance and national observation just as serious.
And anyone who undertakes to violate the law in this process will become absolutely responsible.
One thing I can tell you that today the sovereign gives a historical verdict…
… I say today the sovereign will give a historical verdict and that is the truth. But who is he who disobeys history? So that’s this.
