Beat or run away. Among the eternal reactions to the threat, 53-year-old Vasyl Vasyuta from Lviv region chose a meeting with the enemy.
From the native village of the Cherneve fighter to the border, which outlines the contours of a safe life in Poland, less than ten kilometers. He volunteered in the Armed Forces ten years ago when he worked on the railway. Then, resting on vacation, saw news about Debaltseve. « Inside, something boiled, » he says.

Today Marian is still beating on the front. Ivan was demobilized after injury. Dmitry rests at the cemetery in a black one. And their dad Vasily looks after the forest and tries to reconcile with civilian life.

« The forest is soothing »

Even in the deep rear, the neighborhood with the Russians tears the natural course of life on a piece of life. In 2015, when Vasyl’s father took the weapon, Victoria gave birth to the firstborn Svyatoslav. The 43-year-old Leshuta’s grandson was able to see in only a few months, for Christmas.
In April 2022, Victoria gave birth to a second son, Vladislav. Reality was not easier. A pregnant woman lived, waiting for the news from her father and brothers – Dmitry, Ivan and Marian.
« It was so hard to get up in the morning and look at the phone, She remembers. – I wanted to see at least two blue « ticks » – that the message was read. «
At the beginning of the full -scale Victoria, she does not know why she was most worried about the twenty -year -old brother Dmitry. It turned out that it was not in vain.
Shortly before his death, he wrote to her twice – he asked to pray, put a candle for him. The fighter was killed on February 27, 2022 near Nikolaev. His body was searched for almost a month. Recognized by tattoos.
At that time, his father Vasily booked Luhansk region, where he was injured.
« When he arrived home, the hand did not healed, three fingers did not feel, his knee hurt. But because of the death of Dmitry torn to war and went there again, » – says Victoria.
« Then returned because he realized that there was nothing to do with his health, – the woman continues. – When Uncle Yaroslav died, his dad went to a forester instead, because it is understood.
The forest reassures him. He returns to himself, becomes calmer. The forest distracts him from the thoughts of the horror he saw. About hell where he was. That’s very scary. Maybe the work will go a little desire to come back to the East? «

Didn’t break

Marian Vasyuta met the Great War at the end of February 2022 on the border with Belarus in the Rivne region. In those days he learned about the death of a twenty -year -old brother Dmitry. Mariana called when he returned with a weapon received to the border with Zvyagel: « Yes, my friend, Dmitry is gone. »
« The first thing I gathered my father, – says Marian. – He replied, « He understood. »
If you talk about real courage, it is about your father. When Dmitry died, he did not break. A week later, he was injured in Popasna and even after him continued to fight – that’s why he is a real man. «
“Paternal word – solid and law”, – adds a fighter. However, in one case, it did not work.
« When my son was killed, I said to others, » Release, children, launch already to fight! « , – Vasily Vasyuta remembers. – Ivan was demobilized after the injury. Marian also returned, but sat down a little, twisted and signed a new contract. «

Why
