Vlora Airport receives code from International Air Transport Association
The International Air Transport Association, IATA has set the code for airports and sales of Vlora airport tickets, Vlo.
The news was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.
« IATA (International Air Carrier Association) has evaluated the application of the Vlora International Airport in accordance with international standards and set the code for airports and ticket sales: VLO, » writes Balluku.
IATA is the highest standard of traveling by aircraft by global, secure standards, with the most powerful air companies at favorable prices, cheaper than on their official sites, and the IATA travel agency is needed.
This allows travel agencies to sell tickets on behalf of international airlines in the market.
There are currently more than 54,000 world travel agents accredited by IATA operating in 217 countries and territories.

Vlora International Airport (VIA) is expected to turn into another large gate for all visitors who choose Albania to visit and rest.
This airport will be the entrance gate to southern Albania and the gate of tourism development. This airport is being lived on the ground to become the country’s main airport, which will operate with over 3 business models: civil aviation, aircraft maintenance and a genuine cargo and will be extended to 22,000 square meters.
