Vitkofs without considering Putin to be preparing to invade other European countries / day

« I think you will see real progress in Saudi Arabia on Monday, especially for the ceasefire in the Black Sea. (..). And from that you will naturally come to a complete ceasefire of cessation, » said Vitkof.

« I feel he wants peace, » Vitkof said about Putin, adding that « great progress was made last week. »

During the previous President Joe Biden, Washington treated Moscow as an aggressor. Vitkof said the US is now a key role to understand both sides and to be an intermediary.

« I have never seen a situation with two sides. It is never as black and white as people want to portray it. So both parties are offended, but our task (..) is to narrow the problems, bring the parties together and stop killing, » he said.

Asked if he thinks Putin would try to occupy a larger part of Ukraine or even invade other European countries, Vitkof said it was a « academic question.

« I just don’t see that he wants to occupy the whole of Europe, » said Vitkof.

« In this respect, I believe in him by the name, and I think Europeans are starting to believe it too. But it is irrelevant. It is an academic issue (…) It is on the agenda to stop killing, stop the massacre. Let’s end this thing, » said Vitkof.

Speaking of Russia’s occupied Ukrainian territories, Trump’s envoy said « in the Russian country there is a belief that they were Russian territories ».

He mentioned the so -called referendums held by Russia in the occupied territories, after which Moscow announced that the majority had voted in favor of adding these territories to Russia.

Moscow believes these « referendums » justify its actions, said Vitkof.

« I didn’t stand on either side. I just identify what the questions are, » the Trump envoy added.

It has already been reported that similar pro -Kremlin views, Vitkof, said this week in an interview with scandalous American television commentator Taker Karlson.

Russia occupied Crimea in 2014 and has announced the annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizia and Kherson districts, but has not fully occupied them. Moscow organized an illegitimate referendum on the parody of joining Russia and pseudo -plays.

Vitkof is a US special envoy in the Middle East, but is actively involved in the Trump administration’s efforts to stop the war in Ukraine and Moscow has met Putin.
