The couple is accused of committing obscene act in a public place in accordance with Article 388 of the Criminal Code, the counterpart of Greece’s public prosecution.
The Chinese told the police through an interpreter that he was a photographer and liked to do nude photography. He said he had taken many such photos to places around the world for his personal collection.
He insisted that he did not know that what he had done was contrary to the laws of Thailand. Police said the couple apologized to the Thai and the authorities for their actions that tarnished the image of Pataya Tourism.
