Viktor Verhulst and his girlfriend Sarah Puttemans can build their dream villa in the chic district of Den Brandt. They want to demolish the old villa from the fifties to put a new building there. The city has now given the green light for their plans.
Den Brandt, or Diamantairwijk, is a chic residential area near the Den Brandt park, on the border between Antwerp and Wilrijk. Those who want to live there must have a solid capital. The house prices are far above one million euros. You quickly pay two to three million euros for the pearls.
At the beginning of this year, it became known that the neighborhood will soon be able to welcome Viktor Verhulst and Sarah Puttemans as new residents. Their plan is to have the neoclassical villa in the Della Bankriëbaan from 1959 demolished and putting a classic new building, according to the plans.
The old villa has to make way for a new home with three bedrooms, four full -fledged bathrooms, six toilets, a double garage and a wash house. In addition to a covered terrace, a swimming pool of approximately 12 meters long comes in the large garden. The total price of the plans is not known, but it may clearly cost.
The city has now also given the green light for all those plans, so that the works can start quickly. In the meantime, the couple still live in Knokke.
