(Video) Trump and Zelenski, quarrel at the White House
President Donald Trump received Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski at the White House.
UPDATE The discussion in the Oval Office has become tense. President Donald Trump and JD Vance Vice President had a harsh exchange with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in front of reporters. Trump appointed the Ukrainian president « disrespectful » and said « bet with the Third World War. » At one point, Trump said: « Either you understand, or we retire. »
JD Vance reproached him for the Ukrainian president that he did not thank for the help he received.
At the short statements made in the Oval Office before private calls, Trump welcomed a « very fair agreement » in terms of Ukrainian resources. He also said that an agreement to cease fire in Ukraine is « pretty ».

Leaders are expected to discuss US efforts to end the war and possibly sign an agreement on minerals.
The agreement would provide the US easy access to Kiev's unexploited mineral wealth in exchange for investments and what Ukraine hopes to be concrete security guarantees. The details of the agreement remain unclear, but the analysts say that it could lead to wider peace negotiations.
Prior to the meeting with Donald Trump, Zelenski had a meeting with a Bipartisan delegation of the US Senate.
This is Volodimir Zelenski's first official visit to the White House after Donald Trump took over. It is also the first time the two leaders meet after the tough replica exchange they had last week.
Just a few days after he called the President of Ukraine, Trump sweetened his tone before the meeting, declaring on Thursday the reporters: « I have a lot of respect for him. »
