A terrible storm hit the cycade on Monday afternoon, a group of islands in the Aegean Sea, and the rain that falls on paros caused the pores and torrents carried by vehicles. The storm was accompanied by a strong hail, which hit the poor, Eube and the Peloponnese parts.

Shortly before 5.30pm, the system 112 sent a warning to citizens who banned the movement of vehicles on paros. Costas Bizas Mayor said they have major problems with the main roads and that heavy rain causes landslides and swollen streams.

According to Kathimerini, the authorities are still on standby because of bad weather, and numerous schools will remain closed on Tuesday. The highest rain today fell on myconos, as many as 71 liters in just two hours between 17.10 and 7.10 pm, and numerous other places recorded high precipitation.

Roads that turned into rivers on paros were carrying cars and garbage, firefighters had to pull two people out of the vehicle and evacuated 13 people in safe places. They also had dozens of pumping calls during the afternoon.

Meteorologists in Greece announce that heavy rain and storms at intervals are expected until Wednesday morning, with a red alarm for the morning hours on Tuesday.
