Watch the video:
Firefighters, speleological rescue services from Apulia and Order forces followed a trace of a woman's cellphone, and excavations were concentrated at the place where the rescuers heard the ringing of the phone immediately after the event.
The release operations of the women were severe and delicate and took several hours. The firefighters treated the caution and used rescue stretchers, such as those used for speleological rescue to draw persons from the underground cavity. They also had a defibrillator. The woman allegedly stuck in the staircase she probably reached trying to escape.
– Surely she's alive. I have been with her son Nin since yesterday and I told him that it was important to hope and believe in the outstanding work of firefighters who are heroes – said Mayor Vito Leccessa.
