Video chaos on A2 near Jakovlje: Due to the burning truck, a chain collision was created, no injuries
A real drama took place on the A2 motorway near Jakovlje today, and a whole series of accidents caused complete traffic chaos. It all started just after 3pm, when a foreign registration van was planned at the ride.
– We saw a burning van of foreign registrations, people extinguished the fire with appliances, but that was still burning – the reader told us, who found himself at the scene at that moment.

The vehicle on A2 was set on fire
Zagreb police confirmed to us that at about 3.15pm they received a report of a fire of vehicles on the A2 motorway.
– It was a fire of a van of the vehicle on the move. Everything was extinguished and there were no injuries – they said from the police, adding that the fire was soon put under control, but that the real avalanche of the problem was just after.
During the police investigation, the situation was further complicated. On the signaling, the accident was first ran into a cargo vehicle, which struck the road service. But there was no end. The second freight vehicle soon came across the same signaling, and then a third collision happened – another truck rammed into a passenger car.
– According to the information so far, no one has been injured in these chain incidents, ”police said.
Due to a series of traffic accidents and difficult conditions on the ground, traffic on that part of the highway has been completely suspended and drivers are diverted at the Mokrice toll booths on the state road D1.
