Very weakened Corgi Nala survives against all expectations thanks to Natascha care (41): « The most beautiful Easter gift » (Lier)
« In the beginning there was no life in her, » Natascha says with a soft voice. “Zlata and her dad Negan had a litter of three. Nala was the first puppy that was given to me after the caesarean section. The birth was performed by veterinarian Geert, where I also work. My girlfriends Lotte and Marleen were there. One puppy died after an hour. The oil, no reaction. Picked in her nose, and then there was a reaction. «

What followed were eight weeks of continuous care. Nala could not suck, so Natascha switched to tube feeding, every two hours, day and night. « I took her to work, visiting my grandmother in the retirement home, even when I went to a restaurant. Everywhere I had her in a small container. That is how my whole life was adapted to that one puppy. »
Miracle
After three weeks it seemed to go in the wrong direction. Nala became weaker. « I then contacted the vet again and informed Gert, Sophie and Nikita, the family I had chosen for her. They even came to visit. It was as if they always boosted her. » Three weeks after her birth, Nala finally managed to suck herself for the first time. « Puppies normally do that from day one. But she had a small bite, she had a lot of trouble. From there she really started to grow. »
My animals are everything. It took me a lot of time and money, but that doesn’t matter to me

That Nala has made it can safely be called a small miracle. « Other people might have made the decision to give it up. But I have a large animal heart. My animals are my everything. It took me a lot of time and money, but that doesn’t matter to me. I have saved a life. That is what counts. »
Natascha is known in Lier and the surrounding area as the ‘Corgiqueen’. She has been running her Kennel Welsh Angels with a lot of love and passion for nine years. She also runs a hair salon and regularly organizes events for Corgis. « It’s not just a kennel, » says Sophie, the future owner of Nala. « Natascha is a total package. Her care does not stop with the sale. She stays in contact, remains involved. That is so valuable. »
You made it
Gert also agrees. « From covering to birth, you get the whole story. Even the difficult moments she shares. Through her we also got to know other people. She connects people with her dogs. It is the most beautiful Easter gift that we could imagine that things are going well now. »

The bond between Natascha and her puppies and the families does not stop at the door. She keeps in touch with everyone who has a dog through her. « They are all as a family for me, every time the farewell hurts. But I can’t keep them all. And I know they end up well. »

New owners Nala
Natascha therefore chose a special name for Nala. « She has a pedigree and is called official Welsh Angels Nala. But because it was so special that she made it, and because I was in my name Y at that moment, she got the addition: ‘You Made It’. Because she has, she made it. »

Nala lives with Gert, Sophie and Nikita from the Easter weekend. The emotions run high, with both families. « What Natascha has done for us and for Nala, you can’t get into words, » says Sophie with tears in the eyes. « It is such a fantastic woman. So committed, so involved. I am sure: if I ever take another dog, then again through her. »
Natascha itself has also been deeply touched. « It hurts to give her away, I left a lot of tears. It was incredibly emotional. But my heart is reassuring. She goes to people who like to see her and who know how much she means. And I know I will see her again. »
