Verstapens wins Emilia-Romanian Grand Prix / Day

Oskar Pyastri, a pilot of three previous stages, started the race from the first position, but Verstapen took the lead in the first lap, starting to score over the closest followers.

First, in the middle of the race, Verstapen used the lead and went in boxing, but Kimi Antonelli (« Mercedes ») left the track on the 46th, so yellow flags were again on the track and the safety car left for McLaren pilots.

Despite the fact that Verstapen’s predominance dropped rapidly, the Dutchman retained the first place until the end of the race and finished second place winner Lando Noris (« McLaren ») by 6.109 seconds, but third place, losing less than 13 seconds.

Last season, Max Verstapen, a Netherlands, became the champion for the fourth time in a row, but McLaren celebrated victory in the Constructor Cup.
