Ventspils wins Latvia and Ventspils once again, Vitolins overtook Lembergs / Day in popularity
By counting the pros and cons of candidates, Vitolins has overtaken Lembergs this time in popularity.
By counting the votes in all 13 polling stations in Ventspils, « Latvia and Ventspils » received 47.15% voter support, but in second place with 16.87% of the vote.
15.88% of voters received the support of the « United List » (AS), and 7.72% – « For » and « New Unity ». 5.67%, on the other hand, acquired the « stability » party.
Latvia and Ventspils have a majority in the council – seven mandates out of 13, which will be obtained by Janis Vitolins, Aivars Lembergs, Didzis Ošenieks, Guntis Blumbergs, Aigo Gutmanis, Jacob Macpans and Andris Grigalis.
The NA has received two mandates from Vita Hermansone and Ingus Zariņš, as well as two mandates obtained by Aivis Landmanis and Dzintars Kantsons. « About »/JV will be represented by Bruno Jurshevich and « stability » by Denis Abramov.
The other parties in Ventspils have not overcome the 5% barrier.
The voter activity in Ventspils was relatively low and reached 40.3%.
In the current parliamentary term of the Ventspils City Council, seven mandates are « Latvia and Ventspils », two for « Latvia’s Development », as well as the joint list of regions of Latvia and « New Unity », but one for the new Conservative Party and the National Association.
As reported, the counting of votes in the municipal elections 2025 faces technical problems, so it lasts.
