The sixth edition of the Venice Nautical Salone is closed, which, inaugurated on Thursday 29 May, animated the Arsenal with over 300 boats and 270 exhibitors, a Palinstesto of fifty between conferences, meetings and debates. The edition has recorded over 30,000 visitors and has seen attention grow on the issues of sustainability and innovation.

The mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, has repeatedly stressed that « our ancient routes arrived in Istanbul and beyond, up to Odessa, this is our reference: to be the center of gravity of all nautical in the Adriatic, Ionian area and central-eastern Europe. A door of water between the west and the east of the Mediterranean, capable of attracting construction sites, operators and enthusiasts also from the Balkans, the Middle East and Asia. Now our gaze is already addressed to the future ». The seventh edition will take place from Wednesday 27 May to Sunday 31 May 2026 « with the promise of an even richer and international event which, I want to remember, is already financed for the next two editions ».

« The salon – added Brugnaro – has proven to be an event of extraordinary relevance for the sector and a unique opportunity to strengthen dialogue and collaboration on the themes of nautical. Venice, with its millennial history linked to water and navigation, is the ideal place to promote innovation, sustainability and tradition. This year, after months of international uncertainties that engraved on the market, during the Salone Le Sipetieri recorded a significant increase in sales, a signal of a recovery and renewed momentum for the entire sector. The lounge leaves an important legacy for the city and throughout the nautical sector, a heritage of relationships, content and visions that must not be wasted, but valued with responsibility and continuity « .

The 2025 edition saw the presentation of different world premieres, including the Pershing GTX 70 and the Ferretti Yacht 940. Pardo presented the new 75 and, in the sail, the GS52P. Sailing flagship was the Sunreef 80 and for the engine the 50 meters Almax of Sanlorenzo. Next to the brands
Classic and always present in Venice, such as Lagoon, Pogo, Bavaria, Solaris, the Beneteau group brought the « small » First 30 for the first time, a novelty intended for younger crews, designed by Sam Manuard and Lorenzo Argento. Great attention, of course, has been given to electrical, hybrid and hydrogen propulsions, with innovative models such as the Frauscher 850 Fantom Air, created in collaboration with Porsche, which uses Macan’s Power Plant. X-Shore arrived from Sweden and, with hydrogen propulsion, Dhammablue was present, which uses hydrogen produced without the use of hydrocarbons.

The Salone saw the daily commitment of almost 1500 people between the staff of Vela Spa for the general organization and all the services ranging from the management of the moorings to the preparation, to transport, safety, cleaning, catering, as well as hostess and stewards. A fundamental role played the ICE agency, which supported the event, bringing to Venice delegations of buyers and international operators in the sector.
