Vatican donated to Ukraine four ambulance vehicles for the front line
On Monday, at the initiative of Pope Francis, the Vatican announced the donation of four ambulances to Ukraine, which will be deployed on the front line in the war against Russia.
Pope Francis sent again to Ukraine’s prefect of the dicaster for the service of the Mercy of Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, who travels there with Pope’s gift, ambulance vehicles, Vatican News announced on Monday.
– The Holy Father decided to re -send Konrada Krajewski to Ukraine with fully equipped outpatient vehicles in order to save life in the war zone – the statement reads. The Pope also wanted to « bring the light of Easter on the darkness of the night, » the statement added in the statement.
Pope previously donated three outpatient vehicles in the colors of the Vatican City, a mobile hospital and ultrasound appliances for affected hospitals, as well as canned food, generators, clothing and medicines.

The Vatican officially does not have any role in negotiating the termination of fire between Ukraine and Russia, but helped in the exchange of prisoners of war between Kiev and Moscow.
