Vanda Winter for 24 Hours: Husband has a lot of patience for me

When we mention Vanda WinterLet’s think of an artist who is brilliant in multiple fields, from theater to music. After recently releasing the emotional song ‘Song for the End’, it also plays the musical ‘Six’ at the Comedy Theater in Zagreb. This musical of the author Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss It connects the elements of the concert, stand-up and pop music, and on stage revives six women of English king Henry VIII.

– Working on it almost has nothing to do with what I have done so far within the music theater, so for me this is a new experience and a challenge. It is dancing a lot, everything is extremely precise and default, and it is a play that, from the performer in exactly 75 minutes, how long and how much it does not come down from the scene, requires maximum concentration, presence and engagement. And it gives the audience the impression of ease and spontaneity – Vanda tells us.

The role of the queen shares with eight other performers – Frank BatelicWho,, Taro ThallerWho,, Nika IvancicWho,, Dora MasleWho,, Sarah VojicicWho,, Irma DragicevicWho,, Vlatka Kladarić and Gin Damjanovic.

– The musical, by the propositions of the license, is a total ‘Girl Power’ and feminist. Ideal for a woman’s exit! Even the band on stage is made up of exclusively female instrumentalists.

– The piece in itself speaks of a stereotypical disagreement and a competition among women, but among us, besides the really ‘soldier’, because the time to prepare, unfortunately, reduced to a minimum minimum, ruled the ‘wellness’ atmosphere. The girls are beautiful, each has a ‘its factor’ that brings, which enriches the scene and is nice to be part of such a team – adds Vanda.

– History remembered her as the third Henry woman. The one he was pleased with because she finally gave him a lawful male heir, but soon passed away from postpartum fever, leaving the kingdom in mourning. Her motifs are love, quiet strength, femininity, loyalty and motherhood. Unlike the other queens, who seek to emancipate from Henry in their stories, she is the only one defending her unconditional love for him as an equally legitimate right to a woman to choose – explains the actress and singer.

With theatrical challenges, Vanda recently released a new song ‘Song for the End’. It is a ballad about accepting a loss and endings that do not mean the end of life, but the beginning of a new chapter.

– It’s about parting after a long distance in the relationship between two people. With the years of that topic, they reach me differently – Vanda admits.

The song was written by herself, and was created in collaboration with Yogi Lonichem and Zvonimir Dusper Duswith whom she also collaborated on the song ‘All around us’.

– The sensitivities are obviously well coincided because ‘The song is the end’ of the second collaboration in this combination. The first was a slightly dancer ‘everything around us’. They are both top musicians, and I like to work with people who inspire me – says Winter.

Directed by the video signs Tomislav Maricand the song announces her new studio album, which brings collaborations with authors like Aljoša ŠerićWho,, Dusper Dus and Yogi. She is especially dear to her song ‘Find her’, which she experiences personally.

– I take the songs that I have given me as valuable gifts and every small world is for myself. I tried to make them the best I could at that moment – Vanda points out.

Apart from the scene, Vanda is also fulfilled privately. With his wife Ivan Parlovcoach of the NK Gorica junior team, has a son Fabian. John is a great support for her, and family life is organized by a team, with the help of grandparents and friends.

– I am proud of him and here I think primarily of his courage, diligence, sacrifice, sincere enthusiasm for sports and his laid -back, calm nature. There is a lot of patience and understanding for me, which by nature I am much more anxious than him and I can only hope, because I cannot speak on his behalf, that I also complete his life equally well, as he complements mine – Winter points out.

Their son Fabian (8) has already borrowed his voice To a small frist in the animated movie ‘Man’.

– He knows his mom is a singer and actress, but he says he doesn’t want to be famous. He likes to come to ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and recently, as he often has an actors’ children, he’s’  » came to him ‘to synchronize. Most of all, however, loves nature, animals and dinosaurs, and always builds his own world completely independent of my or husband’s interests – says Vanda, which motherhood has strongly influenced.

– I do not know if it reads from the outside, but parenting sta I change the relationship to life, everything becomes more intense – and happiness and fears, and it is impossible not to reflect it on one’s creativity as well – Vanda adds.

When it comes to plans, there are several.

– When the album comes out, there is also a concert promotion, but it will not be before autumn because until then we see each other on the comedy scene and scene of Lisinski Hall on ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘poor’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘Six’. There are, of course, dramatic performances in which I play in Comedy and Histrion. There are more plans, but for now I can discover for now, ”Vanda Winter concluded.
