USKOK: ‘We started an investigation against the nine. Smuggled and resold various drugs’

On the basis of the criminal complaint of the Brod-Posavina Police Directorate, USKOK has issued a decision on the implementation of an investigation against nine Croatian nationals (2002, 2002, 2005, 1999, 1999, 2006, 2005) on suspicion of committing criminal offenses of criminal association and unauthorized production and drug traffic.

‘It is suspected that I. and II. in the period from March 18, 2024 to June 11, 2025 in Slavonski Brod, Županja, Zagreb, Nova Gradiška, Viškovci and other places in Croatia, in order to obtain undeniable material benefits, joined and connected other defendants and several other persons with the aim of continuous procurement, storage, hiding and further quarrels.

For the realization of that plan I. Okr. is with II. ocr. And with the unknown persons from Zagreb, he continued to procure more marijuana and hashish, while II. ocr. arranged the procurement of larger quantities of cocaine and marijuana for I. and for yourself. In accordance with the stated agreements, I. Okr. For the transport of drugs to Slavonski Brod, he hired V. Okr., While II. ocr. he brought drugs to the area of ​​Županja and Slavonski Brod or hired an unknown person so far.

After the drug was delivered to Slavonski Brod and Županja, I. hired III. to VI. oc., and II. ocr. hired VII. to IX. ocr. To take over, hide and further drug resale. USKOK will propose to the judge of the Investigation of the Osijek County Court in an investigative prison against eight defendants. ‘

« Police officers of the Criminal Police Service of the Brod-Posavina Police Directorate and police officers of the Vukovar-Srijem Police Directorate in coordination with the Corruption and Organized Crime Office (USKOK) have completed several months of criminal investigation over multiple persons on suspicion of committing drug criminal offenses.

According to this criminal investigation, it has resulted in the arrest of nine people, four of whom are (23, 20, 26 and 26) from the Brod-Posavina Police Directorate area, one person (aged 23) from the Osijek-Baranja Police Directorate and four (28, 19, 25 and 19) from the Vukovar-Srijem Police Directorate.

On the basis of an order of the Osijek County Court, the searched persons, moving matters (means of transport), homes and other premises to which the suspects are used and are deprived of subjects that are related to committing criminal offenses.

A criminal investigation has been suspected that a 22-year-old from the Slavonski Brod area and a 25-year-old from Županja area, from March 2024 to June this year, gathered with each other and connected the 23-year-olds, a 20-year-old, a 28-year-old, a 26-year-old, a 26-year-old, 22-year-olds and 19-year-olds with the aim of procurement, storage, storage, storage, 28-year-olds cocaine, marijuana and hashish.

It is suspected that the suspects have achieved inappropriate property benefits in the amount of at least € 100,000.00.

Therefore, the aforementioned suspects of committing the criminal offense of the Criminal Association referred to in Article 328 of the Criminal Code, as well as the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and drugs of drugs referred to in Article 190 of the Criminal Code, and related to Article 329 of the Criminal Code.

After the criminal investigation was completed, the suspected person was handed over to the detention supervisor, and the Criminal Complaint charges were filed with the Office for Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime.
