Use the remaining five days for this historic moment

In one of the DHL offices in Athens, today was present the political leader of the Socialist Party for Diaspora, Taulant Balla, who called on compatriots to use the remaining five days available to deliver envelopes to DHL, Kurier or Speedex.

« Five days remain to post your vote for European Albania, » said Balla, who has followed closely in some areas of Greece and Athens the process of participating in the May 11th elections. He appreciated and expressed gratitude for the engagement of the diaspora at this historic moment for democracy and the conclusion of Albania’s membership in the European Union.

« I want to call on all our compatriots throughout Greece, not just here in Athens, to use the remaining five days to send to the offices of DHL, Kurier or Speedex envelopes with ballots, » Balla said.

At the exit of the DHL point, Balla thanked all the immigrants who engaged in the process, stressing:

« According to the Central Election Commission, there are still about 6,000–7,000 unprecedented voting sheets, but I believe and hope that they will be distributed to successfully conclude the process, in Greece and around the world, wherever Albanians are.

Those who enrolled to participate in the elections – millions of Albanians – constitute a great achievement, a victory for our democracy and this milestone, ”Balla said.

The Socialist Party’s political leader has been constantly with the compatriots in Greece, where the company contracted by the CEC has shown problems during the distribution, guiding immigrants to appear in DHL offices and contractors and asking the CEC to respect the contract.
