USA: At least 21 dead from the passage of tornadoes
At least 21 people were killed in Kentucky and Missouri in the central US after the crossing of tornadoes, which caused significant damage to St. Louis.
Kentucky’s governor Andy Besir announced that at least 14 people were killed in extreme weather on Friday night, adding that « unfortunately, this report is expected to increase as much information as we receive. »

St. Louis was a strong blow – dead and disasters
American media like NBC News and The Washington Postthey report that at least 7 dead have been recorded in the neighboring state of Missouri, many of them in St. Louis.
« Our city is mourning tonight, » said Stris Carra Spencer’s mayor, speaking to reporters, stressing that « life losses and disaster are truly shocking. »

More than 5,000 houses suffered damage, the mayor said at the same press conference, as rescue workshops worked to identify missing people in the wreckage.
More than 100 miles south, Skott County Sheriff, Derick Wheetley, said a tornado hit several rural areas on Friday in the southern part of Missouri County, killing two people, injuring several others and « leaving behind a lot of disaster ».
It should be noted that in 2024, in accidents that caused tornadoes, 54 people in the US had lost their lives, according to the US Ocean and Atmospheric Observation Agency (NOAA).
