US State Department supported Ukraine’s sales of F-16 training and support for $ 310 million
The US State Department has approved the potential sale of Ukraine’s training and technical equipment for F-16 fighters together worth $ 310 million.

- aircraft modification and modernization;
- training of personnel for operation, maintenance and combat readiness;
- spare parts, consumables, maintenance and return support;
- land equipment;
- supply and support of secret and non -secret software;
- research and reviews;
- engineering and logistical services provided by the US government and contractor
The total cost is estimated at $ 310.5 million.
« The proposed sale will improve Ukraine’s ability to withstand current and future threats, ensuring effective preparation of pilots and increasing its operational compatibility with the United States through comprehensive training in the US Air Force, » the statement reads.
