Brown has always been violent in the past, now he is said to have attacked a man in a night club with a bottle.
Due to an assault attack, US singer Chris Brown will have to custody in Great Britain until mid-June and therefore probably cannot start his world tour as planned. A judge in Manchester ordered the R&B star on Friday until June 13th. Brown had repeatedly spoken with violent acts in the past, including in 2009 with a spanking attack against his then girlfriend Rihanna.
According to media reports, Brown had landed on Wednesday afternoon with his private jet in Manchester and was arrested there on Thursday night in the « Lowry Hotel », a five-star house in the northern English city. The police accuse him of severe intentional assault in a London night club in 2023.
Music producers with a bottle
According to the « The Sun » tabloid, Brown had attacked music producers ABE Diaw in a night club in the chic London district of Mayfair during a tour in Great Britain. Among other things, he is said to have thrown a bottle on his head and beat it when it was on the ground.

Beaten on Rihanna
In 2009, Brown was convicted by a US court for an attack on his girlfriend, R&B star Rihanna. Shortly before a Grammy ceremony, the rapper had beaten Rihanna so hard that she had to cancel her performance.
In 2012, Brown had been involved in a conflict in a New York night club with people from the area around the rapper Drake, in which the French basketball star Tony Parker suffered an eye injury. In 2014, Brown owed himself guilty of having attacked a fan in Washington. In 2016 the musician was arrested after a woman had accused him of threatening her with a weapon.
Lawsuit against production company
Last year, the US broadcaster Investigation Discovery published a documentary entitled « Chris Brown: A History of Violence » (Chris Brown: A History of Violence). The rapper therefore filed a lawsuit against the production company Warner Bros. Discovery in early 2025 and asked for $ 500 million (447 million euros).
