US Ambassador to Ukraine leaves for disagreements with Trump and Greenski

US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, should step down after three years of service, the State Department said yesterday. According to US media, the ambassador is leaving for disagreements with the new policy of Donald Trump’s administration and tight relations with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski.

Western diplomats working in Ukraine described Brink as « Kiev’s most important defender » in the context of Russian military aggression. However, according to them, lately she changed the rhetoric and approached Trump’s position.
