Von Der Leyen talks about increasing defense expenses and is about to present new financing formulas to earn this week.

The 27 also consider greater flexibility in using structural funds or adapting the mandate of the European Investment Bank to facilitate its loans to the defense industry.

After the London Sunday meeting, in which 15 countries will attend, although all the EU countries will not be present, the 27 will try to reach a consensus for support for Ukraine and a higher contribution to European defense.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is reserved for the strategy of « peace by force », as well as Hungary, led by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
