Unseen powerful chase: Professor Legal in Belgrade on the department of the Faculty of Administration, on which it works – personal views

They are numerous, complex, long lasting. So most probably came a certain preproof bitter drop that spilled the content anyway full of glasses. In the atmosphere of unprecedented powerful hitches at the University and the Rector especially, and in the past days and on the Milisavljevic Dean.

In this particular case, the crossing of legal, political and factual charges have been mostly over the college leaders, as well as the relationship between the students and opposition, perhaps different currents in the very hospitality itself!?), Occasional waving in professor’s staff, and even possible Disagreements within the decanian, if not within the extended rectoral course.

By the way, the selection of Dr. Bojana Milisavljevic for the Faculty of Dean was also formally and contained clean, indisputable, as well as his personality. He was a previous vice dean for teaching, a person’s behavior and sober thought, exemplary professor and colleague, wondering ready for help and dialogue, to find optimal, recilient solutions. On the other hand, maybe sometimes too compliant.

He had two basic aims, which I personally support, and I believe they would be of great importance and in the treatment of the next decade of the Faculty of Law. One is the care of how much or so preserves the integrity and identity of the faculty in public.

Others – at any cost avoiding all violence, physical and verbal conflicts between students and with college staff, as well as any irregular external intervention. Therefore, any previous decision would make the examination and examination in the occurrence of extremely unsustainable circumstances, unrequently unsustainable, unfulfluous, life and health of all us at the faculty – and as such absolutely null.

The word, it would be deeply risky, unadventable to a higher education public interest. Professor Milisavljevic, holding the law, did everything he knew, what was only really possible in the course of the Faculty and his postpartons in a given period. Including cooperation with the educational inspection whose administrative solutions, as a result of the implemented inspection supervision – not only at the Faculty of Law – expect.

The decanal posture was for the welfare of our institution and university, in a sincere intention and in undoubted extreme, to avoid greater evil, in peace, harmonious cohabitations in the common house – which excludes any liability of his (not) treatment. While calling the police to violently break blockado was a totally non-academic act, a comparative historical precedent that would, I would be sure, produced more detrimental, disagreeable consequences.

However, these days, the Dean is facing a criminal application for the alleged abuse of official positioning of the student blockade, which, says the signatory, « Infringing the main activity of the faculty and the realization of the right to education ». And from another, also the ruling angle, he was seriously objected for passivity in terms of intended student political organization at the faculty. So he found himself in a heavy extortion. And on the obvious downhill.

All in all, I suggest three times cumulative tensions, not only the purpose of interesting Serbian, drastically ruined national milieu, but also to retain the remaining dignity of the State University and thus the currently decoculated capital law school.

First: announce as soon as possible, early parliamentary elections. In this, the idea of ​​student election list is without the rest of the legitimate: that in the political game, it is democratic and legally checking not only the rating of government, but also opposition. But if students do a decision to demand the elections to go with their list, their further political activities in that direction should be held outside the buildings of the faculty – to clearly demarcate and spatially separate from the university teaching process and exam.

Of course, only the most freelance choices are considered with significantly improved and consistently respected non-discriminatory rules, unappointed media openness and a carefully anticipated voter list.

Second: At least for the beginning, while the Belodani Dec. and illegal education, through regular general strike, to protect the professional and economic interests of work at State Faculties: Providing regular consultations to students and smooth exams.

In doing so, due to a few months, no students should bear any (additional) harmful consequences.

Third: Not giving up on its requests, until their full fulfillment – and early fair elections and the new government would be a key instrument for achieving this goal! – Students would, as support on the edge brought to the existence of the University of which they were inseparable, primarily in the moral obligation to block the blockage to a reasonable measure.

So they end them as soon as elections are announced in a timely manner, and to reveal that success, in addition to the earlier, falling the government. But with an important reserve that student blockages in case of proven repeated election thefts immediately establish in full circumference, with continuous mass civic protests and strikes (IS) on that occasion.
