Information about a brutal attack that took place at the campus of the University of Warsaw on Wednesday evening (May 7), shocked the media. A 22-year-old law student was supposed to attack the Porter’s Laboratory Siekier (53 years old), which was just closing the Auditorium Maximum door. The woman died on the spot. A guard was also wounded, who tried to help the 53-year-old. The next day at the university there was an atmosphere of mourning.

The first, which the reporters of « Fakt » pointed out, who on Thursday, May 8 visited the campus of the University of Warsaw at Krakowskie Przedmieście, are a lot of police – both at the gate and at the university. Even a black and white photo of a tragically deceased 53-year-old, set up in front of the building, which houses the Auditorium Maximum and the University of UW, guarded the guard.
Despite this, the campus could be freely entered – the officers did not carry out any control or selection. On the other hand, police security has already disappeared, even the tapes after the events of the previous evening could not be seen at the university.
After crossing the campus gate on Thursday morning, our reporters hit an unusual void. The university seemed to be extinct.
The university authorities announced Thursday, May 8 a day of mourning and all the classes were dismissed. From time to time, however, one could see individuals who come to light a candle or leave the flowers in front of the portrait of the murdered 53-year-old, stop for a moment, and then escaped in silence.
