Universities do not fill their places in political science
All three state universities, who train in the professional field « Political Science », have not filled their public procurement seats for the current 2024/2025.
Universities offer both state -owned and paid -form training.
The maximum permissible number of students and doctoral students in the respective professional field for all state universities is determined on the basis of the policy for determining the optimal total number of accepted students, for whom the state provides funds for the maintenance of their education, according to the number of secondary education in the respective academic year, explaining the higher education with the needs of the labor market For the number of students.
The « Political Science » Division in State Higher Schools is offered at Sofia University, Plovdiv and Southwestern. The largest number of Sofia University – 225, of which only 80 were filled are the granted university. In Plovdiv, 11 students were accepted in 26 units. There are 33 vacancies left in the southwest.
Places in the Law specialty, however, do not fill in two universities. They are 220 at Southwestern University and 169 students were accepted. 100 freshmen have been accepted in Rusenski, if possible for 144 young people.

There are also universities that exceed their receptions for « law » – Sofia, UNWE, Veliko Turnovo and Plovdiv.
The approved admission to Sofia University is for 460 students and 512 has been admitted. The UNWE has been admitted with 38 students more. The University of Veliko Turnovo is overflowing with 16 freshmen, and in Plovdiv they are two more.
Vacancies are more than students, especially in the specialties with shortage of staff
Of all the Faculty of Laws, National Security is offered only in the Southwestern and Rousse University, with both higher education institutions exceeding their admission. There are 110 in Ruse, and 188 students were accepted. In SWU, the admission is exceeded with only one student – 47 are admitted.
The total number of public procurement seats in the six lawsuits are 2156, of which 404 remain vacant.
