In the pre -party voting of United Russia, 2 million voters took part in the first three days, the secretary of the party council of the party Vladimir Yakushev said on May 22. On the first day of the primaries, May 19, the choice was made by 1 million people, on the second day their number reached 1.6 million.
In total, 3.3 million people registered to participate in the vote – this is almost 12% of the total number of voters in those regions where the elections will be held in the fall. According to Mr. Yakushev, the highest turnout among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, where deputies of regional parliaments will be elected in September, was recorded in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug-almost 13% of the list of voters. Among the administrative centers, where the elections to the City Duma will be held, the day before, Rostov-on-Don (more than 9%) was leading, but on the third day he was overtaken by Kostroma (10.5% of voters).
Finally, in absolute terms, according to the results of three days of the primaries, the Chelyabinsk region leads, where 206 thousand people voted. She, according to the official preliminary voting site, takes second place in terms of the number of registered candidates (3482), second only to the Krasnodar Territory (3568).
The number of voters in the primaries-2025 turned out to be maximum over the past three years. In 2022, 2 million electors registered for voting, 3.17 million in 2023, and in 2024-more than 2.9 million (12.7% of the total number of voters in elected regions).
Recall that the preliminary vote of United Russia in 57 constituent entities of the Russian Federation takes place in electronic form and will last until the evening of May 25. Following the results of the primaries, candidates will be selected, whom the party will nominate in the autumn elections at different levels.
