Several high school students from Cugir had a unique visit to the Aiud maximum safety penitentiary on Friday, where two prisoners, former drug users, spoke to them about the harmful drugs on health and life, but also about the seemingly harmless.
‘On the last day of the Crime Prevention Week, which was dedicated to preventing drug use, the police officers analyzing and preventing crime, together with the teachers from the Technological High School’ Ion D. Lăzărescu ‘from Cugir, organized, at the headquarters of the Maximum Safety Penitentiary, 13. This activity was attended by two men, former drug users, who shared students from their personal experience. The discussions were aimed at drug addiction, their harmful effects on health and life, the apparently harmless surroundings and temptations’, mentioned in a statement sent on Friday by Agerpres, by the Alba County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).
The informative-preventive session was received with interest by the students, with the opportunity to discuss directly with persons deprived of liberty who chose to share their life stories.
