Unique: Baby Rafferty was not given one, but twice in the world

Baby Rafferty will be able to say as one of the few children that he was born twice. After cancer was diagnosed with the mother, the baby was taken out of the abdomen for a while so that the tumors could be removed.
The English Lucy was twelve weeks pregnant when a scan showed that she had cancer on her ovaries and that the tumors had already spread to surrounding tissue. The doctors could not wait until after the birth to remove the tumors because they were afraid that the 32-year-old could otherwise become even sicker.
