Union of Municipalities attended the Antalya Urbanism and Technologies Fair – Cyprus Newspaper
The Turkish Cypriot Municipalities Association (KTBB) participated in the “City EXPO – Antalya Urbanism and Technologies Fair organized this year with the contributions of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye and the Union of Mediterranean Municipalities.
According to the information provided by the Union of Municipalities, the fair, organized at national and international level, was organized with the theme “Environment and Technology” between 18-20 April this year.
KTBB and Güzelyurt Mayor Mahmut Özçınar chaired the KTBB delegation, Dikmen Mayor Yüksel Çelebi, Mayor of Mesarya Ahmet Latif, Çatalköy-Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırk, Millar-Akıncılar Mayor Ali Karavezirler, Tatlısu Mayor Ahmet Hayri Orçan, Mayor of the Mayor of the Mayor of the Sun, the Mayor of the Tatlisu. At the fair, while participating companies had the opportunity to expand business networks, conduct market research, establish new collaborations and follow sectoral developments, municipalities were provided with national and international current technologies and sharing experiences.
The KTBB delegation also participated in the Local Governments Symposium within the framework of the fair and shared information and experience within the scope of local governments reform.
While the mayors of the delegation came together with other mayors and senior representatives, the United Cities and Local Governments had the opportunity to meet with the Secretary General of the Middle East and West Asian Regional Organization (UCLG-MEWA).
