Due to drastic medium-cuts, the UN refugee Hochkommissariat (UNHCR) has discontinued medical care for refugees in Egypt. Around 20,000 patients are affected, and treatments are about cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart diseases, says a UNHCR spokeswoman in Geneva. The organization can only finance emergency aid in the event of an immediate danger to life. Many of those affected fled Sudan before the fights.
