She was my child, not just a niece. Paradise flower. I cannot believe that she is gone, Ilhad Kendic, Uncle Hana Akmadzic, a girl originally from Cazin who tragically suffered in a bloody attack in Graz, begins her emotional confession.
Ilhad received the news of the tragedy while he was on Vir. At first he didn’t know exactly what happened, just that something was terrible. When he heard that he was also killed by Han, his world collapsed.
– When I heard the news, I called her immediately, but she didn’t answer. Just silence. My heart broke. I will never forget that moment – Ilhad tells us.
He lives with his family in Maribor, but was in contact with Han daily, at least a message, who lived with his family and older brother in Graz.
– That was enough for me. She was not just my sister’s child, she was like my own. She grew up with my children – Ilhad tells us barely suspending tears.
– She was withdrawn, quiet, incredibly good and careful. She was a child a parent can wish for. She respected the elderly, loved school, always with her mother. She didn’t mind anyone, she was dear to everyone. That’s why God took her. It was carved for this world – Ilhad tells us.
The last time they saw only a few days before the tragedy, before Bajram.
– She hugged me, laughed … I didn’t know it would be the last time I was seeing her. I never separated her from my children. It was part of my heart. And now that part is gone. She wanted to enroll in medicine, wanted to help others, especially the children – Ilhad told us, who immediately after learning from Vir to Graz.
– I was briefly heard with my sister. We are broken. Only faith keeps us alive, it saves us. Let our melek go to paradise, ”Ilhad concluded.
A terrible attack was on Tuesday at Borg Dreierschützengass High School in Graz. The armed 21-year-old man broke into school and killed ten people. Among the dead are Hana Akmadzic and Kaid J., a guy from Travnik, as well as Lea Bajrami (15) from Kosovo. The attacker committed suicide after the visit, and the motive has not yet been officially confirmed.
