« UkrPoshta » to release a postal set with beacons of Azov and Black Seas

UkrPoshta will release brands depicting the black and Azov beacons, including those located in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The set was created within the series « Lighthouse of Ukraine », which was started in 2009, told In the company.
They added that the issue of this year’s brands had fallen on the 25th anniversary of the creation of the State Hydrography-a state institution, whose employees, in particular, care for Ukrainian beacons.
« This time postage stamps will tell the stories of beacons of the Black and Azov seas, as well as Crimean beacons, which are now temporarily occupied, but invariably remain part of Ukraine not only on the map but also in the hearts of Ukrainians »– explained in Ukrposhta.
The product products were depicted:
- Lighthouse in Crimea Ai-Toodorsky and Chaudinsky;
- Shagansky Lighthouse in Odesa region;
- Belosarai and Berdyansk upper beacons in the Azov region;
- Lighthouse Russian rear, or Buzko-Dniprovsky-Limansky Channel, in the Nikolaev area.
Photos of stone structures for stamps were created by O. Zakletsky, and the design of products, cards, envelope and stamp was made by Oksana Shuklinova.
Postal block « Beacons of Ukraine » will produce a circulation of 50 thousand copies. The brands will be put into circulation on April 4.
The repayment of brands is planned to be held in the headquarters in Kiev, and special – in estuaries in Mykolaiv region.
Earlier in Ukrposhta released Postal issue « The City of Heroes. Mariupol », whose stamps are covered with particles of steel from the Metrobambat.
