Ukrainian UAVs hit the oil depot in Engels, which provides strategic aviation of the Russian Federation

On the night of June 6, the forces of Ukraine’s defense attacked the oil depot in the city of Engels of Saratov region of Russia, as a result of the impact there was a large -scale fire. The facility is used to refuel strategic aviation, which makes rocket strikes in Ukraine.

Details: According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out by drones. The blow caused the fire at an industrial facility located in the city of Engels, where fuel for strategic bombers is stored. These planes are regularly used by Russia for shelling of Ukrainian cities with winged rockets.

In early January 2024, this oil depot was already attacked by Ukrainian drones. Then the fire could not be extinguished for several days.
Despite the fact that the Russian authorities do not specify the nature of the damaged object, numerous videos appear on social networks, which clearly shows a large -scale fire at the oil depot. Users also publish footage with fire and smoke pillars.
Governor of Saratov region Roman Bussargin confirmed The fact of the fire, but did not specify what was burning.
