Ukrainian Mariia went into the leadership of this week’s ‘dinner for 5’

Third Day of Istrian Week ‘Dinner for 5‘Zeljko, Zdenka, Sasha and Arnela in Pula hosted Mariia Yatsykovych, a 56 -year -old Ukrainian who arrived in Croatia in 2023. She scored a high 39 points for dinner – Zdenko, Sasha and Arnel dinner were rated with a maximum of ten points, and Zeljko with nine because his main course was a little fat.

The housewife started preparing dinner ‘Varenyky 3 types of cheese’ because she had more work around him. These were dough pads like ravioli in three different colors, which she filled with a mixture of three types of cheese, which had a truffle. She also prepared mushroom sauce in addition to the dough.

Then she prepared the main course ‘Colorful Kaleidoscope of taste’ – pork medallions wrapped in pancetta and baked with the side of Ukrainian fries of potatoes, onions and cheese. It is left to complete the traditional Ukrainian ‘Kyjivsjka cake’ before the guests arrive.

« The team is above my expectations for quality, goodness, smiling, humor and socializing, we all quickly fit in and it is phenomenal to me, » Zdenko commented and arranged on his way to the hostess with a team that they would sing before dinner, so they sang Marii with Ukrainian brandy.

« Mariia seemed super, relaxed at the aperitif, as if he had been doing it all my life, » Sasha said.

The appetizer liked the guests, Zeljko and Sasha agreed that it was perfectly both in appearance and taste, but the guests were particularly impressed with the main meal.

« The look of the main course was perfect, art on the plate, » said Sasha, and was similarly described by Zdenko, who said, « This is a work of art for me. »

« This is pure hedonism, it is pure enjoyment to eat this, » Sasha commented impressed.

The dessert also delighted the guests. « Too good, too tightly, the thread is cute, the thread is too many ingredients inside, melting in the mouth, » Arnel was pleased, and Sasha added: « Maybe he was a little too big piece. The cake was saturated, but the taste was top. »

After dinner, Mary shared her gifts with her guests, a bottle of homemade olive oil and a flower picture, and then a surprise followed, which delighted everyone – Marii’s grandchildren danced the traditional Ukrainian dance.

« I have no words, the surprise was phenomenal, » Arnel said, and Sasha admitted, « I was delighted and I think at one point I even let go of tears. »

« I was expecting something from her homeland, but that she would give us something like this, I didn’t expect it and thank her for that, » Zdenko concluded.

Mariia was also pleased with how she had been last night and said her guests could come to dinner whenever they wanted. It remains to be distributed by the grades – Zdenko gave Mariia a « pure ten because everything was great and above expectations », and Sasa and Arnel agreed to him.

Zeljko assessed dinner with nine points: « It was all great from appetizers to dessert, but the main course was a little too fat to me. »
