The women’s national team of Ukraine and the chairman of the Committee of Women’s and Girl’s Football Anastasia Klipachenko expressed their indignation about the recent words of President Ingulets Alexander Povorozniuk about women’s football.

Their joint statement was published On Instagram clipachenko.

At the end of March Povoroznyuk declaredthat he is not going to create a women’s team. The President of Ingulets said he did not understand and does not want to understand women’s football, and « with beautiful girls we need to do something else. »

These words caused dissatisfaction in the football community. Clipachenko posted a statement on her Instagram page, which was then reposted by the national team players, as well as the official page of women’s football.

« We consider the words of FC Ingulets President Alexander Povoroznyuk unacceptable. The mentality, who kills women’s football and a woman’s dignity, should remain in the past. Football – for everyone! », – the statement reads.

Very soon the women’s national team of Ukraine will hold two matches against the Czech national team within the League of Nations 2025. The home play will take place on April 4 at 19:00 in Kiev, and Frag – April 8 at 6:30 pm.
