-Any athlete does not like to play, we are no exception. I wanted to complete this selection on a positive note, so the unpleasant sediment was somewhat left. At the same time, for us, this impetus not to relax and move forward.
– And what match from this draw of the League of Nations was remembered most and what exactly?
– Definitely match against Albania! We won 2: 1 and went out to the Division « A ». A special atmosphere, pressure, understanding that this is a key game – all this was present. We showed the character and good game. And the best episode is the final whistle. Only then we realized that we are the first in the group and increasing in the classroom.

-Your brother Igor Korsun-a bronze medalist of the Futsal World Cup-Futsal-also knows the price of such victories. What did you say after the match?
– Igor was delighted, says he had no doubt about the victory of the women’s national team of Ukraine.

– Emotions went crazy, we very much wanted to win this victory and share joy with the fans. But there was another game ahead, and in the morning we were waiting for training and training. The main thing is that we got such an important voucher to the League « A ». We all sought it.
– Did you note that many matches ended with a score of 2: 1? Is it a coincidence or a pattern?
– This is a really interesting fact. Perhaps this evidence of team equality – no one has completely dominated. In total, 2: 1 is a typical « working » account: you hold the advantage somewhere, you miss somewhere.
– Fatigue for the season, apparently, has it accumulated? What are the subsequent plans?
– Of course, there is fatigue. It was a very difficult and busy season. Now the whole focus is for the Final of the Cup of Ukraine. And after him – vacation, time to restart and rest.

– Did they discuss possible rivals in the Division « A »? Still, another level …
– There were no such conversations yet. But everyone understands: this is a step forward, and they play the top teams of Europe. We are waiting for the definition of the participants of the League « A » to see who will be our rivals.

– What are the general conclusions from this tournament? Was the feeling of incomplete pleasure, because it was not possible to reach Euro-2025?
– The level of national teams is very high, everyone progresses. There are no obvious favorites or outsiders – every team can give a fight. Of course, we wanted to go to the euro, because it was a good chance, but we already have what we have. It’s a story.
– How much has the level of the Ukrainian Championship changed and how will it affect the national team?
– The level is increasing, more and more teams are able to fight for medals. Youth progresses and « comes on five » – this is good. The team needs young performers, this is our future.
– What are the trends in women’s football? Everything goes to universalization, as Lobanovsky said?
– Yes, Lobanovsky was right. Today, every football player has to be able to attack, defend, play, control the ball. The attack begins with the goalkeeper, protection – with the attacker. There is no emphasis on all the components of the game, there are no little things in football. What is the priority – the coach decides.
– By the way, managed to see the final of the men’s League Champions League – PSG? AND The female finale – Bars – Arsenal?
– Yes, both finals watched. She did not expect an Inter – PSG account would be 0: 5. I wanted more intrigue. PSG perfectly realized moments and did not give chances to the opponent.
The female finale was spectacular! Barcelona again demonstrated how to own the ball and space. But the one who scores one more wins.
