Ukraine with the help of EBRD funds will be able to import large volumes of gas

Ukraine has attracted 270 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) under state guarantees for gas purchase, which will be accompanied by a grant from the Norway government of 140 million euros.
About it reported Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, who, together with the President of the EBRD, Reno-Basso, signed the relevant treaty, which will strengthen Ukraine’s energy stability.
« This will allow Naftogaz of Ukraine to import large volumes of natural gas for preparation for the next heating season, » Shmigal stressed.
He also added that after the full -scale war, the EBRD attracted more than 6 billion euros for Ukraine in the form of loans, grants and guarantees.
In the public sector, Ukraine and the EBRD jointly implement 12 projects, including in the field of energy, logistics, and critical infrastructure.
