Ukraine Russia Online: Russian drones attacked the cities of Dnipro, Kharkov and Kramatorsk
Russia claims that Ukraine has taken extensive drone attack. The air defense was destroyed by 158 drones.
According to Russian officials, the attacks disrupted flights in the south of Russia and forced the inhabitants to evacuate from dozens of apartments in the Rostov region.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the air forces disposed of 29 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov region. The authorities have not yet reported any injuries. However, the local governor Juri Sľusar announced that they evacuated the inhabitants of 48 buildings in Aksaj.
Air forces shot down 69 unmanned aircraft over the Krasnodar region, 15 above the North Ossetia, 11 in the Voronezh region, ten in the Kursk region and five above the Belgod region. Drones were also destroyed over Crimea, Pensian, Saratov and Oriol region, Stavropol region and Azov and Black Sea, the ministry said on the telegram.
Reuters recalls that the Russian side reports only about the number of downed drones, not the total number of drones fired towards Russia.
The Russian Federal Aviation Authority claims that they have closed several airports in the south of Russia on Wednesday to ensure air security.
Ukraine did not immediately comment on the attack. (TASR)
